Notice boards throughout the village provide the opportunity for local groups to keep residents informed about what is going on in Melton.

With the spread of Broadband, email communication is fast becoming an additional means of providing this information to those who are not normally around in daylight hours to see what is on the notice boards.

The parish council website provides access to information about the village and parish council and is now providing a free email service to distribute information about local events and activities.

Residents simply subscribe to this new email service on the E-NEWS page on the parish council website at www.melton-suffolk-pc.gov.uk and then receive details of community events happening in and around Melton in the comfort of their own home.

Anyone wishing to use this service to advertise events in Melton simply uses the email link on the E-NEWS page to send their information to subscribers.
