Deben Radio is a community radio station operating in, and for, the area of the River Deben.
It is now five years since the community broadcast act came in to force, with Ofcom describing the legislation as: "One of the great broadcasting success stories."
Over 200 community radio licenses have been issued and over 400 jobs created, with over 10,000 volunteers actively involved, learning new skills and helping to build a sense of community.
Currently Deben Radio has a variety of Listen Again programmes available on-line through this link.
Soon we shall commence web casting live over the internet.
Our long term plan is to apply to Ofcom for a community radio FM broadcast license.
