Woodbridge Town Council, in partnership with Woodbridge in Bloom, recently presented prizes to the winners of the Children’s Design a Flower Bed Competition.

The task was to design a colour scheme for the bedding to be planted in a circular flowerbed in Elmhurst Park.

Entries were submitted by the Abbey School, Kyson School, New Street County Primary School, and St Marys Primary School and the winners were;

7 year old Alice Norris from New Street Primary School for the Summer bedding (to be planted in late Spring 2007) with her Seaside design, and 

6-year-old Will Martin from St Marys School for the Winter/Spring Bedding (to be planted Autumn 2007) with his colourful Rainbow design.

Sue Allen, Chairman of Woodbridge in Bloom and Chris Walker, Town Clerk presented the children with their prize of a £15 book voucher each.
