This May Woodbridge plays host to one of Suffolk’s most well known ensembles, The Suffolk Concert Band. The FREE concert, sponsored by local hearing care specialists The Hearing Care Centre, is being held in the beautiful setting of Elmhurst Park.
The Suffolk Concert Band, under the guidance of director Roger Jones, is an acclaimed local wind band, and traces its origins to the Suffolk and Cambridgeshire TA Band back in the 1960s. The band currently has 61 members, of all ages and from diverse range of backgrounds.
Karen Finch, MD of sponsors The Hearing Care Centre said, “It promises to be a great afternoon of entertainment. All our team will be down there making sure everyone has an excellent time. Bring the family down, with a picnic, and enjoy the brilliant live music”.
