88. Terrace of four Victorian cottages, photographed by mobile 'phone camera, shortly after the replacement street lighting had been installed.

I have just noticed that the rainwater down-pipe has been re-routed since the photo above.

 

90. A new building in progress in November 2009. This splendid house is being built on the site of the small community hall that stood in the grounds of the Beaumont Baptist Church. The tree is evident in the photo 91a, below.

 

91. What was once the Beaumont Baptist Church is now being converted into a private residence. This photo was taken in November 2009, shortly after the exterior had been re-painted.

92. Evidence that this house was once two cottages can be seen in the pair of book-scrapers built into the walls, either side of the single door, which was once two - refurbished in the 1990s(?).

92a. Another view of the same two cottages (now one house) in 1996. Attached to the left of the houses is a boarded-up shop, once a greengrocer, I believe.

92b. Another view of the same two cottages just as the conversion to one house has begun. first the old attached shop has been removed and the wall rebuilt in the style of the existing wall.

92c. A photo taken from a very similar point as 92a. You can still see the marks on the brickwork of where the hold shop's roof was joined to the wall of the pair of cottages, that are now one house, plus a 1990s new build "down the hole" behind the wall.

 

93. Garden House, built in the 1990s, I believe.

 

94. Masters House - built later than School House, below.

 

95. School House, a relatively modern addition (1990s?) to Chapel Street.

 

96. Timber cottage in Ship Meadow, rumoured to be made from timbers won in Napoleonic battles.

 

97. The stylish entrance to one of the many fine houses in Woodbridge.

 

98. Wisteria over Birkitt House at the start of Chapel Street. The smell is intoxicating.
