Buttrum's Mill - Introduction

Buttrums' mill todayButtrum's Mill is one of England's finest tower windmills.  Built in 1836, it was probably a wedding present to its first owner, Pierce Trott, who married in the same year. The mill is a product of the famous Suffolk millwright John Whitmore. Visitors can climb the tall tower to see his elegant machinery, including no less than four pairs of millstones.
