The UFO Train begins alongside the car park at the Tanham/Rendlesham Forest Centre, off the B1084 between Bromeswell and Butley. The red circle on this map is placed on the car park. This is a clearly waymarked route.

The trail is about 3 miles and has only slight, occasional inclines, and is well marked.
It was a damp but bright autumn morning, these mushrooms looked particularly fresh.
Through the chain-link gates at East Gate, where the USAF search team left the air base (RAF Woodbridge) to investigate "strange moving lights" in the forests surrounding the base.

Not an alien - a lone Fallow Deer who was sitting, presumably resting.
When we disturbed it, it trotted off into the woods.
Thought to be the clearning where the triangular UFO craft landed. The bright light in the left centre of the picture is a tunnel-like entrance/exit to the clearing, through the dense pine trees. This area was felled shortly after the UFO incident and has since been re-planed and re-grown.
