Power of the Past

This page it is more about the "The Power of The Past" than about the village of Wantisden.  Power of The Past is an annual event held at Wantisden Valley, which includes agricultural, entertainment, engineering, military and modern action. The event is run by the Kemball family, who have farming, conservation and corporate conference facilities and other interests in the area, including the recently purchased redundant RAF Bentwaters air base.

I don't know much detail about what is displayed, I just enjoyed the sights, sounds and smells of this great early autumn celebration of "the way things were." There are displays of horsepower, steam power, and firepower (weaponry).

Apart from the pictures of the Church, above, the photographs were all taken at the 1999 Power of The Past
